FDX-Jumpseating on NWA out of MEM help
#4
If you want to list before you get there and get an idea on the loads you can call 1-800-225-2525 and talk with a resv agent to list as a nonrev.
You shouldn't have any problems. FedEx is always welcome on my a/c as I have jumped on you guys several times and was always treated great.
In fact I try to put you guys in first class if its available. Maybe when it comes time to interview at FedEx someone will remember for it

Just go to the gate and fill out a jumpseat form. The agents should have some. If not, I am sure someone on the crew will have one. We can take as many jumpseaters as open seats in the back or in the Cockpit if your CASS. Welcome aboard

NW has always been the best experience when js. Out of MEM just go to the ticket counter and tell them you are JS, they will print you a fake pass to get thru security, then the gate agents take care of you. Thanks NWA.....

Also remember if you are in uniform, you don't have to deal with the liquids and gells issues with the TSA, and you get to go through the crew line instead of the regular line. If you decide to do it this way, you also won't need a jumpseat ticket to get through security, you just have to check in at the gate and list.

NWA ROCKs in Memphis ... My genuine thanks for the Ride/JS ... Same as above for getting listed ... I check Northwest Airlines - Airline Tickets, Plane Tickets & Airfare ... just for a relative idea of the loads/seats ... it is a guess-timate at best ... been told it will not list/show the non-revs. Again a well done by NWA crews in Memphis.

I'm a MSP dude, so I count on NWA big time to get me where I'm going. On the J/S thing, I concur with what Haywood says:
- Be in Uniform (security/liquids/no pass req'd)
- Get some extra J/S forms and have it ready to go when you see the agent
- Wait to be seen until regular customers are done (common sense), and make sure they check you in CASS
- Wait until the Capt is done looking at his/her paper work to ask for the ride
- Make sure your J/S form says "CASS Approved" if the airplane is full so you can ride up front
- Don't be a cheap ass, and bring some cookies.
- I'm always the last one on, and last one off. If you are getting a free ride, you need to let the paying customers get taken care of first.
Thanks to the NWA crews for taking great care of us.
