The terms of the severance package and the likelihood of finding other, comparable work between now and the close of operations make that financially impractical for most.

Prostitutes to the end...

Why are guys at UPS so emotional about DHL pilots picketing UPS headquartes in Atlanta, it doesn't have direct impact on the pilots of UPS does it? And whats with the hostility against ALPA, aren't they just doing whatever they can in an attempt to avoid their impending demise; is IPA that much better than ALPA, I think not.

My sentiment here has nothing to do with the current DHL/UPS deal however personally I think that even girl scouts have a better representation than ALPA pilots do - so yes I believe IPA is a much better union than ALPA ever was.

In reality, I don't think most IPA guys give a red rat's ass if they picket. Just realize that UPS WILL BE TAPING IT! If you're on the tape, no J-O-B. Period Dot. As far as ALPO hostility, many of us have been ALPO in a previous life and it left a bad taste. You might ask the boys and girls of FedEx about their satisfaction level with their union. Its a crappy situation all around and I wish the ASTAR/ABX folks the best of luck.

If you don't think that UPS hates unions (especially the IPA), I don't know what to tell you... Without being a smartass, have you been here very long?

Now that was funny BTW, did you come up with that all by yourself?
