I worked for a scumbag just like that. However, when the second paycheck was late the aircraft did not move.
Sat in Alaska at a no star hotel for 7 days. Only flew after getting paid. Then found a better job 6 weeks later.
It's one thing to help an employer if money is tight. It is totally unacceptable to do it month after month.
I guess Skylease/Centurion pilots are like abused spouses. They stay because they are so abused they feel like no other airline would take them and they become used to the situation.

That place is a Venezuelan mafia, if you want to upgrade, you'd better join the club. Great place to work if you have a few felonies, failed training and got fired from previous companies.
The new hires are promised the 747 experience after your career failed, the Captains do not want to let go of that wide body left seat... This is your typical conversation at cruise... "I can't believe they're almost paying us to fly"...
Happy New Year!

Not sure what you guys are whining about. If he paid you the money that you earned, how would he be able to cover all the payments on his house in Key Largo, his penthouse on Brickell, his ex-wife's house in Pinecrest, his cars and other toys, and whatever mistresses he keeps? Ask yourself that. I didn't include the lovely house on Miami Beach that he sold for was it 16 million? I forget.
I don't know the reasons why Skylease rejected Teamster representation, but it is apparent that they are getting what they deserve.

Multiple failed events, DUI and a few convictions? Please join Skylease, they'd love to have you...

Just had a Centurion jumpseater on my airplane. Claims Alfonso owes him over $40k in back pay, overtime and per diem.
Claims there are guys there owed over $110k.
I don't know how those MCDU units and aircraft logbooks don't go for a walk with off boarding crews.
