Air Cargo Carriers??
Just received a phone call and have an interview next Tuesday for a first officer position. What have you guys heard of them or are there any current or ex-employees of Air Cargo Carriers? Any information on the interview or nature of the job and/or like or dislike schedule would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yea, I read in another forum they might be hiring into a pool now. They're saying there is regular attrition at ACC especially for FOs so I'm hoping for at least an interview.

I applied there last summer on a whim...have the required ratings, but really low time and i was not at all current. They called me for an interview so I drove over to Milwaukee more out of curiousity than anything else.
They apparently had scheduled 3 of us that day. One guy didnt show up. They had us take a written exam...should be a piece of cake if you are flying currently or have just got a rating. It might pay to study up on regs and stuff. They put me in a "sim". A motionless type that was supposed to represent a Baron I belive. I had never flown a sim like this and I did a terrible job. It was really really touchy. I couldnt even look at a chart without busting altitude. I did a terrible job at it, but it was nothing like an airplane, so I am not sure how fair it is to stick a guy in it.
Had a long interview with the Chief Pilot, he seemed like a good guy.
Good Luck. I think the Shorts would be kind of fun to fly for a while.

Anybody know about Aircargo Carriers New Page 1 with a ONT base? I have 940TT/665ME/823PIC/615Dual Given. I'm timid about the regionals right now. I know Mesaba is hiring, but it will take me a little farther from home than I'd like, but if I have to.....I will.
