Default Training schedule question

I was scheduled to fly am O&Bs on days 1, 2 and 3. I was subsequently assigned training on days 1 and 2 and removed from flying day 3 due to insufficient crew rest. According to the contract,
  1. If a pilot receiving recurrent training is removed from a trip(s) to protect minimum scheduled days off, he shall earn trip guarantee for that trip(s). His eligibility for substitution shall be governed by Section 25.H.4.b. (substitution).
Can anyone explain this? (My BLG has been reduced 18 hrs.)

sounds like a FDX question ?

If so, you must have 12 hours off prior to and after training. Your training assignment has conflicted with these trips. You will be eligible to participate in the view/add window to rebuild your BLG. Remember you will be paid 2 days training on day off, but will not be paid till the 15th of DEC check. If you do not get trips in the view/add your BLG will stay as it is today.

The trips weren't dropped to protect min days off. They are handled as a phase in conflict and you look at this:

25.C.11.d.iii.(b) which leads you to: 25.C.11.f. Which puts you in to the View/Add Window.

How many days off are you scheduled for before training? It was at least 16, unless you had carryover. Since you had three trips knocked out by 2 days of training and a rest conflict, none of your trips were removed to protect min days off (16 for a 5 week month.) Therefore, the section you quoted does not apply. You need to look at Section 25.C.11.f. See what 2Cyl and MX727 said. MX obviously types faster than me.

These guys pretty much spelled it out for you. You will get your 4.5hrs per day of training added to your blg after you complete the training. If you are looking to square up your blg or go 12hrs greater than what they took, then when the view add window opens up, you will be allowed to fish from the golden pond.

That section is left over from the previous contract ( I think they forgot to delete it when the new contract was written).

Go read Sections 4.I and 25.C.11 of the contract.

In a nutshell: Training conflicts are handled like phase in conflicts and you are removed from the trips like you had a carryover trip. During the View/Add Window you can put in a make up bid to try and recover the the time.

To piggyback on this one, if you have a reserve line and part of it was removed due to training footprint, if I go in during the View/Add window and pickup do I get leveled for it? It was a 10 day block if that matters.

This is in 4.I but I do not see whether the trip I would fly goes towards leveling or not.

Thanks
