Fish,
Sign in here with your ID for the Pass Bureau page. Contains all our pass benefits, car rental discounts etc.

https://ras.ups.com/flightops/Flight...ravel/Pass.asp

A quick one from the page though.
UPS pilots for Southwest:
Southwest Airlines:

Eligible:

UPSCO employee (full-time & three months employment), spouse, and unmarried dependent children under 21 years of age regardless of student status.

Discount:

$50.00 round trip space available and $25.00 one-way space available on scheduled service. Each ticket will carry the new airline security fee ($3.00 per segment to a maximum of $12) along with a $10 processing fee. These fees are the responsibility of the passenger and will be included with each purchase. Purchase price will vary depending on the number of segments flown.

Embargo:

No blackout dates.

Instructions:

Complete web based Pass Bureau Request Form completely.
The $10 processing fee is non-refundable.
Tickets will be returned to the employee by the following delivery options: pick-up at the jumpseat desk, AGB, GOC, UPS Next Day Air or Second Day Air or U.S. mail.
Allow 2 weeks for delivery.
Tickets are valid for 90 days from the issue date.
After receiving the ticket from TTA, the employee should call Southwest Airlines at 1-866-SWA-PLAY (1-866-792-7529) to obtain a non-revenue listing PNR. The PNR number will list the passenger(s) for the flight but will not create a reservation.
Refunds:

Tickets are refundable up to 90 days from the issue date and a $15 processing fee will be applied.

AGREED !

For all the reasons mentioned above -AND the most important:

If you have a wife, ID90 is VERY overrated! Most wives don't want to put up with the BS of the high possibility of being bumped. . .especially at a mid point airport!

Happened to us a few years ago, when the kids were toddlers. Took a ski vacation to Tahoe . .flying into RNO. No problem getting there, but, on the way home, early evening, dead tired, cranky kids . . they did not have enough seats out of SJC for all of us to get home.

Fortunately, there was another flight about 2+ hours later, that they said was wide open, due the lateness of the evening. BUT . . subsequent to that, wife would NEVER use ID90 AGAIN. I will BET there are thousands of stories like that. NOT the benefit it is cracked up to be.

The Orbitz/Travelocity comment (above) was right on, since the 90% off DOES come on the highest priced ticket. If you are traveling alone, the FREE Jump Seat has always been my favorite option.

The SWA is great when kids are in college. Just have to 'anticipate' . .but kids got the time and patience and consider meeting people in airports an 'adventure'.
