So Malcolm Gladwell wrote a chapter on C.R.M. and cultural factors that contribute to airplane crashes, wonderful. If anyone is interested, a very good book on the subject is 'Pilot Judgement and Crew Resource Management' by Richard S. Jensen. Another great read is 'Darker Shades of Blue, the Rogue Pilot', that delves into personality issues and crashes.

A friend of mine was a sim instructor for Asiana. The comments about Koreans were pretty much spot on.

For a while the Koreans couldn't operate in US airpace without at least one expat in the cockpit.
