Default FDX - Second practice is out.

About the same info... Capt seniority numbers are all 3 digit midgets >921, F/O's go to 4010 or so.

Maybe they're going to wait until after the final bid to cancel it? W-T-F-O?

Any logic to why MEM MD11 Capts would bid to be an 777 FO? Seems ridiculous to me.

Unless they are real junior, most likely just jerking everybody around. Whomever goes early in this program is going to have a lot of time off. Like any new program, lots of bumps for training or consolidation, subs, drafts, D/Hs etc. With only 4 jets, you'll pretty much know where they are at all times and if you are on reserve and all the jets are airborne with 16 hours ahead of them, unlikely you'll get the call. In fact, their flight time might encompass your whole reserve period. B reserve might get real sweet depending on the schedule.

I rode into work at SFS once with a standby guy - he was on a blanket on a beach with a girl, food, and a cooler full of beer, waiting for 10pm, and they called him at 9:45.....

...beat me to it!

p.s. If he had to go fly would she have officially been placed into "substitution"?

...and if so, would that be a "short" sub window or a long "sub" window?

I guess it depends on the size of the bar fine.
