If one more pilot is to be excessed or even furloughed, DW needs to not only resign, but retire. He took something from every junior Capt., FO and SO that was not his to give away. He has taken away seats, seniority and security and given it away all by himself. With his "retroactivity'' clause he gave the over 60 crowd a gift at a huge cost to the entire crewforce. It was not their fault that DW did this.
If someone gave you a $500,000 gift that belonged to someone else, would you give it back? We are going through some tough times right now and everyone needs to do the right thing together. It is hard to move forward, without correcting the past. |
