Default FDX Carryover question

I want to make sure I read the contract correctly, if I have a 20+hr carryover trip into feb (don't worry I am planning on protecting min days off) and I conflict it with a long single departure trip in feb will the fed trip definitely drop? Is there any occasion when the new trip is longer than xxxx the carryover trip gets dropped instead?? Hope someone understands my question...thanks.

CBA 25.F.3.b. Correct me if I'm wrong, but in the Boeing, at least, where they've pared down the carryover to 1-3 days max, protecting min days off isn't really doing anything with 63 hour BLGs and 14-19 days off in a 4 week month. Don't get me wrong, I'm still going to protect my min days off, but if I get a line with anywhere from 15-19 days off nothing is going to happen. I guess it's a bigger deal for you international guys/gals.

I was just thinking the same thing as I looked at the A300 bidpack. You must be a genius.

Different story though for the SIBA guys in the A300. But most of the SIBA lines don't have the filler trips anymore. But there is significant carryover in later in the month Europe trips.

Yah...Any wonder SIBA went so much more senior on the last bid?

And, any guesses on how much min day protecting goes on over there?
