Way too long. How long does it normally take to hear you are in the pool? or that you are not going to be hired?

I'm not sure that the FAR means as much as the equiptment. I've seen guys with all backgrounds come through. PIC Turbine time seems to rule the day

Default A month or two

FedEx - A month or two seems to be the average - but with a WIDE variation.

I think it's first in first out... all depends on how many guys they are hiring.

Default Getting webbed feet

Been in the FedEx pool for almost 4 months now, kept in the dark about the next new hire training class, but it sure beats the alternative.....

Cheers!

While you're treading water in the UPS pool, make sure you have as many employee referals on file as possible. They must be from pilots you've flown with to carry any scoring weight. This is one of the biggest flags that highlight you from any of the other thousands of interviewees or applicants. Good luck!
