Happened to me once - found out the guy who got the trip had OTP or some other kind of priority m/u over everyone.

But, my denial message didn't say that, it said "earlier time stamp"

Nah, it's been going on for longer than that....

Week before last (before I changed my prefs) I was called 3 times in 4 days for draft ASTBY, B727 S/O. Definitely overmanned.

Anybody know if the union can track calls for draft? I'm getting sick and tired of the company calling my house at 3 in the morning, waking up the entire family, to draft for an airport standby.

I've already selected prefer not to be called in VIPS, I guess now I have to change my phone number.

I can't believe the arrogance of this company cutting our pay, hiding open time and standbys, and then actually calling to draft for a standby.

I can't believe we can be overmanned by 686 and still need to draft all week to fill standbys.

Unbelievable.

fxdx,

Start clicking sick on your days off so they don't call you. When you get the call from your ACP, tell him, I selected don't call for draft, but this is the only way I can get them to quit calling me on my days off for draft

NO, the union cant track draft calls unless you send them the data. That is where we come in. We publicly complain but then we dont follow up. Start compiling these events, to include Rday move denials, draft calls, etx.

It's moving R-days that's the issue. They will let you drop as many as you want. Just another ploy to not pay you.
