Default FDX Mil leave question

Thinking about getting back in the reserves, (for obvious reasons...) do you still have access to the company J/S?? Example, I go to training in the states for 4 months on mil leave, can I J/S home to see the wife and kids??

You still have company jumpseat privledges....but you can't reserve a seat via the website. You must first call your FOA and have them give you jumpseat access. Then call jumpseats to reserve the seat. The jumpseat folks should keep a file on you so you don't have to go through the hassle each time you book a seat.

Add to the original question. If one takes Mil Leave and gets furloughed after leaving for a long term mil leave does he lose or keep his j/s priviledges?

Are you technically furloughed if you are on a long term Leave?

Looks like you convert to "furlough status" IAW section 13A.8....if I'm reading it correctly.

In that case...IAW 23A.9 you only have jumpseat for the period during which you are entitled to receive furlough pay....which isn't very long (approx 1 month)

Yes, The escalator clause of USERRA allows this method under a seniority based system. i.e. all employees treated the same. Have same return rights as well.
