I was listed on the J/S for 085/4th SEA/ANC to head up to ANC 2 days early for my pairing. Called the SEA ramp the evening before and they advised the acft would not leave SEA till 0908 lcl(daylight???). I then called crew scheduling and asked them if they REALLY wanted me to go to ANC?? They advised me they had just changed my pairirng with a DH to EWR then operate on to CDG? I cancelled my J/S went to sleep and woke up to hear that Mt. Redoubt had another erruption event with ash to 50,000 ft. Not sure if the 085/4th ever departed SEA for ANC??

Looks like they are starting to shuffle trips for this week now. The first leg of my trip on Thursday 9 Apr has already disappeared and open time has a few trips that start in places other than ANC One trip is all d/h - wish I could pick it up

Don't worry, the BOTS already have their eyes on it.

Everyone out here in OAK (except me) is flying for 200%. Everyone I talked to was either on draft or had been extended so long they were in the 200% zone and still going. Bad time to be on reserve.

Nice of Redoubt to ease a little of the 4a2b pain. Anyone going through Hawaii needs to drop a goat into Mona Loa for Pele and keep this up a few more weeks. The volcano Goddess has been good to the cargo pilots of FedEx and UPS for a while...

Remember that you can only be extended 96 hours TAFB against your will, 200% sounds good but so does going home sometimes! Good will should be a 2 way street...
