That's right. I heard today that the old crusties think that the 747-400 is coming to SDF. They crack me up about how clueless they are and how bad they are devastating the junior pilots. Oh well. They need more money and more back massages I guess.

Nobody cares, just give it a rest. If you read on here often you will see there are plenty of support for "them", and not so much "us".

seniority rules, once again.

See you on the streets!

What is your goal here? Most everybody cares! Jeezus! I've been waiting long enough to say that your postings are getting old, tiresome, and starting to get annoying. And before you go there, I'm junior and and I'm young, so don't go there.

You say that the "bottom 300" are getting no support! What the hell are you smoking!?! I see a lot of effort being put toward saving jobs. No, I don't want concessions, but if a voluntary plan was put together, I'm very willing to listen. But, from your postings, you don't care at all. Well, I can tell you that there are many that care. I've been down the road that you are looking at right now - 3 times in fact. And I'm not safe here either.

But this continual harping on the age thing is just old. I'm not defending anyone - I've made my points on this subject clear many moons ago, but I can't change the law. Move on. Just because I say this doesn't mean that I'm supporting them vs. you. But, if you keep going down Antagonism Road, you WILL find your support waning quickly from those who DO support you.

Yes it does, always has. This is nothing new. Would you like some cheese with that whine?

This comment is constructive. As a senior pilot with many years left on the property I will do what I can to mitigate any layoff that may occur.

Your sentiment is appreciated.

Prepare to be disappointed when UPS turns their back on volunteer furlough measures.

My disappointment will be slightly more severe ...

UPS never surprises me anymore and I never feel disappointment anymore either , I gave up on those years ago with this company.
We still have to try.

Sorry if it doesn't work

Cactus,

You may be right in saying that UPS may turn their back on our help. Then their message and mission will be crystal clear: "showing the inmates who is running the asylum" and clearly wanting nothing but contractual givebacks. If this comes to pass, I feel for all who will be affected. I can say that I know what you guys are going through right now, and I know what you will be going through if this happens. I hope that things work out for all of us.

Disappointment will eventually turn to venom and anger. Great traits to develop in your employees. Think the class of '88 has a bone to pick with this company ? At least they remained employed while UPS crapped in their soup.
