RUN.....................FAST...................... .............AND DON'T LOOK BACK!!!!!!!!

They are part of the IFL Group in PTK. They don't provide any insurance, sick/va-ca time----NOTHING, they operate under supplemental rules-so that means you are on call 24hrs a day-6 days a week. And you have to live in the middle of nowhere. They seem to only fly once or twice a week.

That is the last stop before hell (In our case, it's the last stop before going to work for MESA )

Default Hold It!

Say what you want about Southwind or whatever the Texas red-headed stepchild of IFL is...but IFL Pontiac is as good a freight company as any...They do offer insurance, vacation, sick pay, border crossing pay, loose load pay, and the total FO pay in Pontiac is better than many regional airlines.

SkyTrucker----The original post was about SOUTHWIND not IFL.

Southwind claims they have always provided insurance, which is a lie.
They have only started providing insurance as of last month.

Apparently there was a meeting with RAH and RAS, some of the pilots had enough of the lies and of the promises that they make to all the new hires and never live up to. As a result of that meeting, Southwind was forced to provide insurance or loose some of there pilots.

They have an ad on Climbto350. This was my forum search about them... anything improved dramatically? Not sure I would even want to live in south Texas.. except South Padre Island every March.
