FDX AUG Lines BLOW
Man the lines look like crap. So I thought this would be a month to bid reserve. Well there are 20 less RSV lines this month and they look like crap. I did notice they moved those 20 RSV lines to 20 more VTO lines. Me thinks the company will build those 20 VTO lines into their choice 20 reserve lines.

Go back and compare AUG lines to the last month the PSIT's built them. THAT will get your attention!!!! I was surprised that there was not a greater roar from the crewforce when Mgmt kicked out the PSIT's. maybe now all will have a better insight as to how much the PSIT's protected QOL for all........then again.....maybe not.....

"Overstaffed" and below min BLG. We ain't gettin' paid so you would think we'd be getting some of the cushiest lines of our lives. FDX is sucking the life out of us for no reason other than to "break" us.
Everybody remember how you feel about things right now. We need to bring a big stick in October 2010.

yep, optimizer pairings coupled with a PBS computer scheduler. Talk about getting screwed! Our quality of life compared to a few years ago will be night and day. Vacation only protected on the specific days, training on days off, 1-7 on your time ect.

Amazing what schedulers can do without a min days off constraint. Another good reason to NEVER leave anything in the contract up to the schedulers. Bonus for long haul.....I don't think so. I would rather see a new 777 rate instead.

Apparently the pairings aren't that bad. Guys are picking up disputed pairings left and right with no regard for the consequences. It truly is sad that this job, is becoming just a job. One that can be painful. I keep hoping that the pilots wake up to what's happening to our quality of life here, but it doesn't seem to matter.
