I seriously hope we stop buying tickets on these guys. They are a total pain and certainly don't help the deviation bank.
They treat us like rock stars when we jump seat with them. We have all kinds working here that are not screened like us pilots and get benefits. I don't blame Southwest for kicking us off for ridiculous behavior. I hope they can reach an ageement to let our employees with a background check to have space a travel again.

People who live in glass heads should not get stoned ... or words to that effect

I hope he was senior to me.

Well, since he was supposedly an OAK hub type, I don't think it will affect your journey to the top.

Too bad when you pick up non-rev tickets, they can't make you sign a statement that failing to follow the specified non-rev rules and dress-code is a terminating offense.

Last time I checked, unless you are a pilot at FedEx, you are an at will employee (domestic employees and mgmt. without contracts).

Agree, I often wish I'd been born some 20 or 30 years earlier... Bring back airline travel from the "Catch me if you can" era. For one, I would be the 'screwee' and not the 'screwed' one in the age 65 debacle...

Seriously, hope they'll bring the SWA passes for you guys soon - it's bad what that non-rev'ing person did but it feels harsh to punish all employees from an entire airline for it.... If it makes y'all feel any better, I don't think we at big brown even get those passes (at least I don't think we do?) - we don't give SWA any shipping discount so no discount from them either... Of course, we don't get any employee discount either... So at least we treat everyone the same as we treat ourselves...

You should note that the Captains in the sixties lost the ability to fly until they couldn't pass a physical due to the manadatory retirement age of sixty being implemented.
