CAT purchase
#4
I was just kinda going off the cuff about UPS. Do you really think they would buy CAT? I know they used to use CAT as a contractor, but I thought that was ending. If they would buy CAT, UPS doesn't have the best track record of integrating acquired airline employees. What would UPS want with CAT? Doesn't CAT have just a bunch of old 727s? Good luck with whoever buys you and if it is UPS, you just hit the jackpot!!!

In reality… UPS has up to date assets to handle their current needs. When purchasing carriers, UPS is interested in either the routes, or aircraft. In this case there are no routes and no up to date aircraft that would suit their needs. As for the employees??? not a prayer. Bottom line is no… UPS is not purchasing CAT.

Well folks... it appears the CAT has been sold to an undisclosed entity... and no... it was not UPS. There will be another 100+ guys on the street by the end of June. Lets all wish them well in yet another difficult period.

That's too bad that UPS is not buying CAT. I'd like nothing more than seeing you "Challenged"!!!!
