They do not care what the people who work for them think all they care about is the box getting to the customer so the customer is happy enough to come back. The only group at UPS to not have people cut are the pilots, management has taken a compensation reduction.

Depends on what you think of the MOU.

Its a compensation reduction no question. The difference is that all the other Labor groups where reduced in size via layoff and not given a choice and the Managers where told that they where taking a compensation reduction and in some cases a bump down the ladder. The managers will be rewarded later for being team players via bonus when the economy recovers, the pilots will have to fight to keep what we have.

Well, I for one do not feel sorry for one manager. For most, their compensation reduction was only a pay freeze not a loss of pay.

That there's a man who's got his mind wrapped around this industry. A whole bunch of people think that if they don't look it ain't there, but Rocket Bob hit the nail right on the head.

Those who call it pessimism just haven't been run over by the bus -- yet.

Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean there aren't actually people out to get me!

Very true. In fact, becoming paranoid greatly increases the chance that even more people will try to "get you", because they sense a juicy target.
