FDX........Well Played Chatty!
Check out Chatty's Feb schedule. MEM MD-11 line 1062. Nice carryover that gets back to the planet on 6 March. And his 65th birthday is? Envelopes please?........Ta Da........7 March! Well played!! Save your money for his retirement presents, he starts 727 S/O training on 29 Mar. How would we have made it without him?

Yeah, thanks for sticking around until you are 65 when you are over 25 years in the company and working for 50% pay. My hero. Enjoy your new seat position for these guys.

Give the guy a break, for crying out loud. He's gotta find some way to support those two Ferraris and those two Saabs. Now you can be sure he's one of those guys, for whom 4a2b had absolutely no effect. In fact, now that he's leaving the left seat, the company will probably have to hire at least 3 more pilots to help fill the void that he's going to leave. I can't imagine that he's going to leave the company, when he can be numero uno in the back of the 727.

What percent pay increases should we negotiate for SO's over, say 10 years longevity, in our next contract?
Should they be the same as all other acft/seat positions?
Who's occupying those seats at that longevity?
What has been previously given to that particular cohort?
Seriously, think about it.

hope the 727 is still around when I'm 70 so I can return to it and "protect essential" just a few more times (at 3am enroute to GTF)!
i'm sure he's doing it for the prestige and not the $$$ though.

As for Chatty, unless he's lost some serious weight, I'm wondering if he could fit in the S/O seat at all.
