Ok, guys, I propose a "truce" of some kind as feelings are inflamed enough. If anyone has an issue with a moderator or dislikes someone, please take it up with this person via PM. Do not air your dirty underwear in public because you are merely compounding the problem.
This free forum is a place for us to share iinformation and help each other, particularly in these turbulent and uncertain times. I do not believe that we have the luxury of trying to pick each other off over perceived personal dislikes. I think there are more important things to do.
View the forums as a community center where we can all come together because of a common interest. Or imagine yourself in my home as a guest. I would hope that you don't drink all my beer, eat all my nachos, make a mess of the toilet, hog the television or molest my daughter (I don't have one, but work with me here).
When I was asked to be a moderator, I promised both HSLD and Freight Dog that I would try to make this a kinder, gentler place. You will note that I rarely give out infractions and even more rarely ban anyone. I prefer a more non-confrontational way of dealing with problems. In fact, I don't always see a problem; more like just a bump on the road. Some of you just need a knock on the head every once in a while.
So, I'm going to close this thread, but leave it up so that others may read my take on this. I'm asking everyone to be a bit more civil with each other. If you need to vent, send me a PM and we can talk about things.
PS: I don't know what happened to cause this thread nor am I privy to any Private Messages exchanged. I don't want to know. Let's start over.
