I'm thinking that between the Pilot Records Improvement Act and the USPS contract requirements, the pilots could have reasonably been exempted from this "voluntary" program.

You "have no special skills" so why would you expect to be treated any differently?

Wait a minute. I'm confused. Are we against illegal immigration and employing illegals or not? That is what this verification is all about? I mean, as conservatives, this is what we wanted, right?

Maybe, you will have to wait to get paid
Max,
UPS has pilots on long term military serving the war effort as officers and they wanted them to complete the requirements too and make sure they were not illegal immigrants. The logic is brilliant.
Relevant questions are worthless, mindless compliance is the rule of the day.
Regardless, Pretty tough for some on active duty outside the country to show up at the few designated places UPS chose in the states to prove their citizenship. Perhaps FedEx has some similarly situated employees?
Yee hah. Hard not to make political commentary on this gov. mandated 'verification'

Since I'm junior I've been coming thru Mem on weekends and no managers were working during the Fri or Sat night sorts, imagine that. The nearest ramp is over an hour away. Not on my time. Hopefully someone will be there the next time I come through on Fedex time.

PurpleDog -- Do you jumpseat to MEM? If so, during your next j/s ask the ramp manager to complete the paperwork.

My point exactly

If you are operating a trip let the ramp you are operating from do it - if it is an "out and back" do it on the turn.

Every ramp I went to, on my last trip, asked if I had completed the forms.

It's not that hard!!

That's strange they didn't ask me at KIX, PVG, or ICN. Things can get a little harder outside memphis out-and-back range.
