UPS Interview Gouge
I was wondering if anyone had any recent gouge for the UPS interview. I would also appreciate any information about a good place to do a sim. prep.
Finally, if this TA passes, any specific numbers being mentioned about new hiring, retirements, etc.
Thanks for any info!

Don't have any current interview info, but they have hired about 700 net in the last eight years. Future plans haven't been hinted at, but hiring continues at a very slow pace. Retirements should peak in 2007/2008. Growth has not exactly been rapid over the last years and unless they pick up some other business, it is going to stagnate.

UPS Hiring
Jungle, you are so full of ****!! I know exactly what is going to happen because I know the only person in pilot hiring who does the sim checks. He constantly gives me all the inside information. Currrently, the plans are to turn on the hiring spigot "full blast" in the very near future. UPS will not stagnate. Once the UPS TA is voted on positively, things will go crazy. Just watch out!!!

Gosh, "Geoffry" that is just wonderful news. I can almost understand why they are waiting on the T/A, a matter of small concern for the last three years to "turn on the taps full blast".
Since you know so much and claim I don't, why don't you throw out some numbers and educate us all on the new business that is going to drive the expansion. I, for one, can hardly wait to hear what you have to say and read all about the new hiring projections.
Are you working for FEDEX or UPS this week?

So "Geoffrey" you claim 400 in 12 months? Do you have any idea of current training capacity or did your buddy forget to brief you on that? Nice guess, but it won't wash.
Tell me "Geoffry", if the T/A isn't voted in, will UPS halt hiring plans and then stagnate because they are worried about having to spend a few more dollars on aircrew? The business plan of the 45TH largest corporation in the US is being held up by a few dollars in pilot salary?
Please come up with something a little more plausible next time. I do so enjoy your posts though, they add a little humor to an otherwise grumpy and drab view of management pretenders.
