Yep, they dropped those mins right after the first interviews back the first week in April. I was called and interviewed. I have a tad under 3500 TT and was the low time charlie by nearly 1000 hours of the people I know and met who interviewed. 5 or 6 of the 12 that interviewed my day were ex ATA guys who had extensive international experience. We had a furloughed NJEurope guy, a Miami Air guy, a World MD-11 FO, one C-17 Guard guy who had NO commercial experience and a couple of 747 drivers from a competitor who were looking to move companies.
I didn't make the cut, but must say I was very, very impressed with the people from Atlas that I interacted with, from the -400 program manager to the HR people keeping us on schedule. Absolutely the most comfortable interview I have ever had... maybe that was the problem..LOL. Congrats to those picked up and now in class and those with class dates. Atlas = Class Act.

I will say this...... During my initial phone screen with HR they specifically said they were targeting backgrounds they thought compatible with their type of flying. That is to say, cargo, long haul, both civilian and military, heavy international experience, people who being away up to 17-20 days at a time was not going to be a problem. As other have stated in other threads the schedule can be grueling if you are not use to being gone for long stretches of time and the reason most given I would suspect for those who choose to move on after a couple years. Out of the 12 guys in my interview day, only ONE did not have experience flying aircraft in excesss of of 150,000 #s... and he as a G-IV driver. Not saying they havent or wont interview people with smaller aircraft experience but on THAT day it was a guys and gals flying larger type aircraft.
