Back to reality...none of you have the brass to leave UPS because this the best job you've ever had! Try to be professional, and everything will be just fine. Act like a three year old and we will treat you like one!!!!!

Most of your comments are degrading and condescending, but you have different expectations of others on this thread? If you expect professionalism from others, you certainly don't promote it with you posts.

PLEASE leave if you are that unhappy. Do all of us a favor. Thank god you are not a relative that I have to live with 24/7. The good news is for everyone one of you, we have 10 pilots who appreciate their blessings and provide a positive contribution to the workplace.

You should have said the average UPS captain hired right into the left seat in their 20's or 30's in 88......Those guys seem to have won the lottery when it comes to airline jobs. Others have done quite well, here, but that group got here at the right time.

Gumbie,
Thats all we want, for our fellow UPS'ers to get back to work. Glad to see you on the bandwagon. You said it very well! Something am sure we all can agree. ;)

I am leaving, not by choice. I think you are one of the few pilots here who when asked in cockpit about the furlough you say "we have pilots on furlough?"

I will never upgrade at this company until I am an old man. I bet you have the same circumstances? right?

UPSierra, I am not trying to be negative, but you are only pointing out what some people on the seniority list have. Many people here don't have what you are describing and it is possible they may never get it. I hope I can enjoy what is currently offered as a senior captain at UPS, but I certainly don't count on it. After I come back from furlough, I only hope I get to upgrade before I retire. I am in my mid 40's, and under the current path it looks doubtful I will have what these guys have.

Do the numbers sometime Mr onlyanumber ... you will be LUCKY to upgrade before retirement. But you may be able to bid out of ANC for a few years to the right seat before 65.

:(

If that were only true Mr Professional !

I've been a professional for 20+ years at numerous airlines. UPS is the first that treats its crewmembers like 3 year olds.

Must be something that you did before I got here. Thanks for that !

I'm glad you have it so great. If it were not for multiple moves, training events, RIF's, downgrades, hotel breakins and furloughs, I would agree with you. Maybe this is payback for voting down a large retirement in the last contract.... oh wait, I forgot, we were not here yet, we didn't have a vote.

For those on this thread with their heads in the sand, the number is no longer 54. We had 22 more people join the furlough list today. I hope that you all find employment with a company that cares about their people. Good luck to all of you.

Why do pilots still get ARTRs' to push early instead of on time?

Broke into his hotel room? Can you elaborate on that please?

Its been detailed to death in another thread but the gist of it is an ANC flight manager along with a hotel staffer broke into a hotel room while a guy was in the shower to hand him a flight assignment.
