I see the truth hurts a few here.

Wow you bought FDX stock even though they waste money on corporate jets and fancy busses. Personally I dont see how they stay in business.

From another site:

blah blah blah blah blah blah blah Fred Smith actually likes unions blah blah blah blah.

Sound authoratative to you?

Oh you actually wanted someone to respond to your undated and undocumented diatribe. Tell me when was Fred's 5 year plan the unknown author you quoted in your unsourced post supposed to go into effect?

What is this to you anyways? The lawyers and politicians will resolve this and everyone will take home a little silver for their efforts. You want answers. All your questions have been answered. Fedex Express is under the RLA. Fedex Ground is under the NLRA. The teamsters are to cheap to try to organize the express guys on a national level and see no profit in organizing the seperate ground sub contractors. They would prefer to be able to organize a couple of strategic express shops and hold the rest of the company hostage. We get it. What more could you possible want to know?

Sounds like you are FDX management :D Why so anti Union Lag? If you are a FDX Union Pilot you would be all for FDX Couriers and Ground IC's becoming union wouldn't you? Think next contact negotiations if you threaten to strike you wouldn't have to grab your ankles and take it when Fred says so what we will lease planes and crews. He couldn't say we will divert volume to trucks because the Couriers and IC's would be supporting your effort. Right now that isnt the case.

So there are no caster decks in any FDX ground facilities? There is no FDX Express and FDX Ground Facilities side by side right? Those facilities are not owned by the same company right? Nothing interchanges between the two right?

ROADS software technology hasn't already been progressively implemented in FDX Express Couriers vans?

Fred never busted a union?

There have never been FDX ground packages in LD3's on FDX Express Planes?

There have never been FDX Ground Packages in FDX Express Letter Boxes that have been picked up by FDX Express Couriers and put into the FDX ground system by those couriers?

There have never been FDX Ground IC's (Independent Contactors) that picked up FDX Express Air and put it into the Express System?

There isn't a corporate jet of FDX Express corporate fleet based in PIT? You know the so called HQ of FDX Ground the separate company of FDX Express but all under the FDX Ticker symbol? This FDX jet never goes back and forth to Memphis right? Once in a while going to Freds place in Arkansas right? Never happened just area 51 stuff right?

Memphis never said that if FDX Pilots struck FDX they could transfer all that volume to trucks but yet they are not a trucking company right?

Fred never said if FDX Pilots struck then they would lease aircraft and crews knowing the ground operation would never support the pilots?

Fred never went to Yale did he. Your not allowed political posts here so I wont mention any names other than one has a quote of "Mission Accomplished" and the other has "I voted for it before I voted against it" Both from separate parties.

Fed Ex lost RLA status temporarly in 1996. Fed Ex regained RLA Status in 1996. Who was President then? Oh yeah the guy from Arkansas, Fred's neighborhood. Again no names or politics but the one who is quoted "I did not have sexual relations with that woman".

Care to answer?

I'm sitting in my hotel room in Japan wondering how that will work. International freight is our bread and butter and asia is the key to the whole thing. How exactly do you think they will get those trucks over here?
SoyaLatte, you defend UPS like Johnie Cochran did O.J. and with the same passion (polite term) and similar shaky logic. I'm not buying your story about being some multi-generational UPS legacy that, darn it, lost his position through downsizing. Walks like a duck, quacks like a duck. Oh, and you need to get away from the computer for a while and relax. When you do come back, get an appropriate avatar for your job as spokesman for UPS>

"Soyalatte" Funny, don't quit your day job.......

Please read I never worked for UPS, said it plenty of times. Nothing to buy sorry.

How do you get those trucks over here? (Asia) Fred never said that he would lease planes and crews before did he? Plenty of fish would like that food.

Your right I do need to get away from this . This Iphone and IPad allow me too much access. I typically troll on here and watch all the UPS badmouthing from the same individuals. I've seen it since 2005. Just decided to set the record straight on some things this time.

See you cant handle the truth. Nothing I said was anti union but you cant refute it so you want to make the argument about me. What part was wrong or anti union? You deny that the teamster cant get a foothold organizing the Express guys on a national level or that the teamsters want the ground guys because it will improve their bottomline?

I hope everyone every where at fedex that wants to organize gets his wish. Just follow the rules.

In answer to your questions; Maybe, so what?

"Just follow the rules" Why do you think I asked the questions because its not the case in Memphis.

"Maybe, so what?" What happened with "just follow the rules"????

"you cant handle the truth" You have said that twice but You never said what the truth is? I'm waiting for you to say "Go ahead make my day" or "Here's Johnny" next.

What is the truth I can't handle? I'd like to know?
