Where's Scott in an old Warehouse in front of a dirty Truck? Since UPS only has one Hanger worldwide.

Huck, thanks for posting the link.

What a poor job by the CNBC anchor... was he just making up questions as he went...??

Must be a fake background... Jet is too shiny! I have never seen one that clean..

Or maybe the money they saved on pay rates were applied to paint..

Now I remember why I don't watch CNBC!!! What a waste of airtime - it was all small talk and no substance

Even though the interview was lame because of complete lack of preparation from the journalist, it was still great to hear FS talking about his company. Not once did he say "I did this" or "I did that"... always uses "We". Then taking his hat off to the men and women working the front line, delivering the product. Just great. Class act. After watching his interviews I always understand why he has earned the respect he has from his employees.

I loved the part where the CNBC announcer (Joe Kernan, I think) asked Fred Smith for a geography lesson about just where Memphis was located. He then asked about the location of Mississippi in relation to Memphis, and Fred said, "Just off the end of that runway." Hard to believe this guy has a college education. These talking heads from New York think anything west of the Hudson is the badlands and you will never come back alive if you venture out there. This is why these guys have no credibility; they can't relate to real people in the real world and they have no interest in ever learning about them or that world.
On the other hand, Fred was a class act all the way. Made them look like real idiots.

"Hey Fred. Your colors are purple and orange? Purple? I always thought it was blue and red. You know: red, white, and blue."

Pure genius.

Have you ever done any research on OUR company history? If not I suggest you do so.

I can assure you that OUR colors have always been PURPLE, ORANGE, and WHITE.

During my 35 year tenure I have seen many different paint schemes, but they have all been P,O,&W
