Default FedEx-727 SIBA

I have heard that the 727 SIBA is going to get the North cone as well as the South cone, and then I just heard that it is all going to the MD11. Anyone have any inside information about it?

I wouldnt think that they will get the N. cone; unless they change the city pairings. Sometimes there is enough freight to where a 72 wouldnt be big enough....I think. And heck, the Bus should be doing all cones!

MD11 already has the Friday night flight on the south cone, as the baby Boeing was maxed out and leaving freight on the ramp in Santiago.

I also heard the rumour that they would replace 72s with MD10s in March.

I heard the same rumor. Not sure which month it was supposed to happen though, but heard MD-10s would replace 727 soon.. That means it probably won't happen!

At least not very soon:

As of December 28th, 2010 a special bid is open for B727 pilots for a
period of three bid months, beginning with the March 2011 bid month.

That should be the Grand Daddy Boeing. I beg your pardon.
