I was scheduled for a double d/h trip 26 Dec thru 6 Jan with a line check on the last two operating legs. I have just been advised via a crew notification that the trip was revised. It now ends on 31 Dec but they added a trip 4-6 Jan and have me scheduled for the line check on the latter trip. They have me listed for the trip as M/U. Seems like they are trying to pull a fast one. Is this kosher?

CS,
As stated, definitely call contract enforcement(DT). Without knowing the specifics, ie, on standby etc, once your trip is revised and you touch home(except for 12.A.6) you are free from further commitment. There shouldn't be any MU requirement. If you are in your grace month for a check ride, then they should draft you for you check or reschedule it on one of your trips in January.

The first trip should be pay protected for the hours of the original trip.
