Default FedEx-ground, Maneuver, Procedures, instr

Hey guys,

Can any FedEx training instructors clearfiy the difference between the ground, procedures and maneuver instructor positions? I am applying to the ground instructor position only, and find the other two somewhat confusing.

What is the purpose of this division of instructor types?

Thanks,

AWACS

Yeah sure. I think I can try to Splain a bit.

Ground - Stand up/ground. Example-class room set up, lecture over systems mainly.

Procedures - Systems and Aircraft specific Procedures demonstrated in a Flight
Training Device no motion.

Maneuver - Procedures and Emergency/Abnormal Instruction in a full motion
Simulator

Why the division? Pay I guess.

I hope this helps, Lets get to working round here.

Pay is all the same for the Professional instructors.

Bohica's correct on what the positions do.

Ok, Her’s how to get to the posting.
Go to pilot.fedex.com
At the bottom of the page is a listing for careers. Click on that.
On the new page select. United States, Flight & Air Operations, and Fedex Express, then match my description.
The page that comes up will show Job ID of 72509_SS Flight Training Procedures Instructor. You can submit your job application there.
Good luck. Hope to see some of you new guys in the school house soon.

Just a side note, I don't believe there is any metering (flow through) program for instructors anymore. You can still apply for a line pilot position after a set time through the JCA (job change application) but it involves the full interview process. The same thing applies to the Corp Flight Department now.
