Starts low 60's, goes up as you qualify to teach more phases of training. The top is close to 70K and there are annual merit pay increases and an annual bonus based on corporate profit results. There is no longer any "flow through" or "metering" agreement. After 2 years you are eligible to apply for an internal "Job Change" if we are hiring pilots and you meet the requirements. As long as you are not in any trouble, you are guaranteed an interview as an internal applicant but not guaranteed a job.

Good luck with your decision.

But does Bombardier give you a guaranteed interview if Fedex is hiring and you meet the min quals?

Bombardier pays more initially, because they have less to offer, especially in the long term. However, I've heard that they are a good company to work for, with lots of ex-mil guys flying there. Someone could put in a full career at FedEx or UPS or any airline, then retire and still get a job at Bombardier. Much like FeDelta did with FedEx and Delta. Good work if you can get it.

Probably Dallas or Montreal.

Lots of retired airline guys teaching bizjets they've never come remotely close to actually flying at FlightSafety, CAE SimuFlite, and Simcom...

I believe that there have been some positions for Bombardier at their BDL facility.
