Have you actually listened to the lyrics? She is doing a Jessica Simpson "dumb" act, mocking certain types of people for the most part. Of course, for your 11 year old, she most likely (like most of her fans) won't pick up on the sarcasm in the lyrics and actually try to act like that.
Sorry about the thread drift. I'm just getting into the heart of this raising a young, impressionable girl and the barriers to success out there are unbelievable. Caught me at a bad moment.

Sure you have. You've looked at your leaking JT8-D and figured..."They are going to send me to the hotel for sure!", and then they tried to fly you.
NOT at Fedex! This happened at another company. We were flying over Germany, and lost all the oil out of one of our engines. It was a major leak, and it is obvios to those that were down there that the airplane was DOWN.
My engineer taps me on the shoulder about half way across the Alps: "Hey, we are losing oil on number three; we had three gallons at startup, and now we are down to one gallon. I had already noted this, but kept this "under my belt", or something that I kept quiet. The problem was that I couldn't keep this one secret.
In any case, my final day at Fedex was very good. I plan to buy a Subaru Outback so that I can negotiate the occasional memphis snow. I'll keep its throttle to idle when the ramp is iced over~

You're flying over Germany, leaking oil and the aircraft is "down"? Normally a "down" aircraft is on the ground and mx is working on it - hence the "down" i.e. not flying.
This was obvious to those "down there"??? Who is "down there"? When you're flying over Germany isn't just about everyone else "down there" - and how could they see your oil leak from 35,000 feet away.
Now you're over the Alps a little later in the flight (I guess) and you've been trying to keep your oil leak a secret? From your crew?
But the engineer - oh, sorry, YOUR engineer - finally notices the leak. Darn the luck. (BTW, I love the "I had already noticed this" - would we expect anything less?)
So, you could not longer keep this little problem "under your belt". Outstanding CRM up to this point. I must have missed the "keeping aircraft malfunctions secret from the crew" module of CRM training.
Something tells me you didn't tell this story quite this way during your interview at Fedex.
Then your last paragraph is equally bizarre. Some kind of rambling about your last day at Fedex (did they find out about the secret oil leak and fire you?) - and buying a subaru for MEM snow. WHAT??!!
Heavy meds, alcohol and APC don't mix.

So the worst that happens is she dreams of drinking margaritas on her sail boat in the keys, and the occasional burger run to Jamaica in her Grumman Goose!!!
