How many of you have ever seen the Southern Cross from the deck of a 15 meter sailboat. Yeah me neither but what was my point?

Quote: How many of you have actually worked at a non-union airline? You know, one that TELLS you to fly a broken airplane, the threat being your job-

I have-
I have also. What is your point? Ha, saw Lag beat me to it, didn't even see his post!

Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Oh, back to school. Back to school, to prove to Dad that I'm not a fool. I got my...lunch packed up, my boots tied tight, I hope I don't get in a fight! Ohhhhhhhhh, back to school! Back to school. Back to...school. Well, here goes nothin'.

LMAO.

And, I have worked at a Union airline that tried to make you fly broken airplanes. Does that count?

Hey! Me too. Maybe the same one. I also worked at a non-union airline for a while. You may have heard of it. It was called Federal Express.

Sure you have. You've looked at your leaking JT8-D and figured..."They are going to send me to the hotel for sure!", and then they tried to fly you.

NOT at Fedex! This happened at another company. We were flying over Germany, and lost all the oil out of one of our engines. It was a major leak, and it is obvios to those that were down there that the airplane was DOWN.

My engineer taps me on the shoulder about half way across the Alps: "Hey, we are losing oil on number three; we had three gallons at startup, and now we are down to one gallon. I had already noted this, but kept this "under my belt", or something that I kept quiet. The problem was that I couldn't keep this one secret.

In any case, my final day at Fedex was very good. I plan to buy a Subaru Outback so that I can negotiate the occasional memphis snow. I'll keep its throttle to idle when the ramp is iced over~
