Good luck to those trying for a spot at Atlas...
Just let me say thanks for your posts! I've read alot of them on several different threads and I appreciate your positive, informative, but candid posts.

So if I were to walk my resume in, (since I'm not getting much luck by emailing it!) would I do so at Atlas corporate HQ in purchase?

I'm a regional guy so I know my profile isn't the most sought after for the ACMI profile. On the other hand, I am encouraged by some of y'all's posts about regional and corporate types having made it to class...

Thanks for the info

I don't think walking it into Purchase will accomplish anything . "THE SYSTEM" won't know what to do with your paper resume. No chief pilot there to give it to.

There is no way to "walk" it in. The offices are on a joint use property and you have to clear in through the security gate that's about 3/4 mile from the building. Unless you are on the list for an appointment with someone, you don't get in. Even if you were to find a creative way to get past security, once you get to the building, the only thing you'll find is a reception desk for the building. You can't get into the offices, period.

Best bet is to follow the process.

From what I remember it is (or was) shared with Morgan Stanley? Nice cafeteria though!

Thanks everyone for the heads up. Guess I won't be walking the resume in after all... All hail the process!

Is the pool what they mean by "preferential hiring list"? How long have you been swimming around?

Well, I got the bad Fed Ex letter yesterday. I just want to say thank you to everyone that has contributed to this and the famous 170 page thread for all of the great information. Even though I didn't get to where I wanted to end up I still have the utmost respect for the way the interview process worked from start to finish.
Can anyone tell me when I can reapply? It didn't state any info about that in the rejection letter. Also, do they appreciate a reapllication or do they pretty much think once through things aren't going to change. I know those are somewhat vague questions, just would really like to try again.

Clarence,

I believe you can reapply in one year...and don't worry about how they feel about reapplying, just do it.
