Curious.. on a scale of unlikely -- forget about it -- impossible.... what are the chances that a guy with a decent resume but NO internal rec getting the call? Debating whether to take that dang FE written for a 3rd time or not..

Seriously though, never assume it'll never happen. You can't win if you don't play. You may not get in on the legacy round but at some point they will have to go outside if the family and look into a larger database and you will want to be there when they do.

A friend of mine is a Viper guy that just got hired at SWA. He's in the June 8 class. FWIW, he did get the type prior.
