Here's that update from April 19/20 interviews. Assumptions are that everyone up to March 14/15 is out of the pool. If anyone has conflicting data please post.

Looks like the remainder of the March poolies will get called for the November Class, and the April and May folks could get the two classes in Dec.

JDriver....thanks for transferring the information. I was trying to resist my FI/APC crack habit (and watch LSU toss away a great opportunity). I know of one guy who got called from the 19/20 Mar interview group for the 30 Oct class. They have been very true to the FIFO process so I consider everyone prior to that to have gotten calls (they may have deferred classes but at least they got a call). I've heard (or seen, can't remember) that there are 22 in the 30 Oct class with a mix of FO/SO slots. Rumor still has pool drained by Christmas.

I hope the rumor is true. The way I see it is that the only way for that to happen is for the class size to increase significantly. Anyone see it differently?

My "guess" would be that the pool is close to being empty. I have a buddy that was asked to come into MEM for a week in Nov to interview applicants.

Yo WannaB take it easy on the Irish dude. One post, he must be new. Combine that with the Irish name, he probably is doing the best he can.

Does any one have any idea on the number of classes that are scheduled for November?... and no I don't have time to read a zillion post to try dig the info up. I have a bullet train to Tokyo to catch.

Irish....thanks for the update....that removes some of the uncertainty in that date, so 11 minus the 4 for the widebody puts 7 in the pool from there. That makes 81 confirmed in the pool and 4 unconfirmed from 12/13 April, 3 unconfirmed from 30/31 May and 6 from 11/12 Sep. As far as March goes, only know of 1 confirmed call for 19/20 Mar group so that leaves 17 poolies for March worst case scenario.

R1200RT,
Rumors have one class in November (best guess is 27 Nov) and two classes in Dec (4 Dec and ???). Hope the info helps.

Nice ride, I can't decide R1200RT or K1200GT? I saw two guys riding RTs last fall on the West coast, same color as your two? They were both airline pilots.

Do I understand correctly that there will only be 3 more classes this year? What interview dates do you all think this will cover?

GT if it's the new one. It wasn't out when I got the RT (my second) I love the RT but the new GT is close enough and tons more power. I was on the west coast last year for two weeks in September. I actually bought the 1200rt on the road in Santa Cruz (traded in my 02). But if the new GT had been sitting there I'd be on it now. Want a 1200RT in great shape? :eek:

Just trying to figure out when my buddy will get a call to class. He turned down CAL in May to sit in the pool at FedEx and he's driving me crazy about it. I told him to go to CAL and walk when FedEx called but he did it his way and the wait is killing him.

Purple should put him right into class based on his ethics. You're saying he didn't want to dis CAL because his heart is really for purple and he didn't just take the training and run?

Tell your buddy drinks are on me. Glad to hear that there are still great guys in this industry. Someone is damn lucky to have a job at CAL because your buddy did the right thing.

Now, how the hell do we get him to the front of the line for class.

I updated the information below based on some confirmation I received on how far the calls went out last time. Hope this helps.

OK, sorry to keep putting out the long string but I think this is as good as it gets with regards to current information. Bottom line is that calls went out for the 30 Oct class through the 20/21 Mar interview group. I know there has not been a 20/21 Mar group on here so far but the confusion arose over cjj's report of a 19/20 Mar group and my reservist telling me that was his date. Turns out he prepped on 19 and interviewed 20/21. Talking to him, he said there were 9 in his interview group with 3 being pulled for the widebody leaving 6 in the pool. All of them got calls last week. Since no one has chimed in with 19/20 Mar info and FEDEX has been pulling FIFO for 727 training....the assumption has to be that all of the suspected 9 were called. This helps to explain why the list didn't appear to move much with the last set of calls. Based on this data, it looks like the 29/30 Mar and early April groups can move to the shallow end of the pool and some of us can quit treading water and stand up now. I've updated the numbers below. Thanks to cjj for the info and clearing up some of the mystery!! Purple reflects people who have been called and red is new information.

1075 based on the master seniority list which includes the class that started Oct 2. Doesn't include the poolies.

Today found out a Pinnacle pilot was called to have his pee test redone and he griped about having to go again to the collection site.:eek: Apparently it was his 3rd time while in the pool, well guess what he royally stepped in it. Not sure what the final out come will be but its been pushed up to JL. Everyone in the pool might be moving up one due to darwin's theory, man what a blunder!! At the very least passing him by for a while. When the hiring people call it pays to be NICE.:)

I'm sure Lewis understands the frustration involved. I bet the guy will be just fine unless he really went off on her and it was recorded or something.

Does anyone know the last interview date called for class or the actual class plans for Nov and Dec?

RT...last class interviewed to get calls was 20/21 Mar (you can check out the best info we have on post #99). Best guesses have one class in Nov (probably 27 Nov with an outside chance at 13 Nov) and 2 in Dec (4 Dec and 11 Dec). That's the best us poolies have for now.

PoolFlyer, I don't know for sure. We had 5 interview and I'm sure at least 4, probably all 5 got pool letters. Re-did my drug test last week, and am anxiously awaiting the call now!

I think I'm going to buy a Jetta on Monday...
