GRID PENALTY EVENT for Idiots GPE
Does anybody understands the Grid Penalty Event in Section 4 page 20. (GPE) ?
"Sarcastically", It is very easy to understand, in fact, what a great deal.
This GPE applies to all International Flights trips, except SIBA trips (section 12.D.1.b. or c)
IN ORDER to qualify for this pay penalty, your trip must have being changed or affected, more than twice but, can not touch any 48 hour period (I guess 48 hour period rest) , except for a trip that did not conform with 34-168.(4.EE.1.e)
Point being, Not even the Negotiating Commitee understands this Sophisticated Bologny and the Remote Possibility, where it would apply. This clause is designed to make you believe that you will get 150 % pay, if you trip gets revised twice, but in fact it would only pay 3 CH if it did not touch any 48 hours period . And it would PAY 150% in very Remote possibilities.
As I said above, A very Sophisticated piece of Fedex Bologny to impress you, but the NC, does not know how to explain it, because it was probably written by the company, like the SUB POLICY, THE JUMPSEAT POLICY,THE R-day B scale definition policy, etc

The word idiot DOES belong in this thread - - but it's how you're acting.
Oh, and there are two ways of spelling bologna (even the kids know this one from the Oscar Mayer advertisement), and you didn't stumble on either one.
