Default FDX Practice Bid #1

The FCIF states that the first practice bid will be out on Wednesday, May 19th? I thought they had written down the date incorrectly, as both following practice bids are on Wednesday... but nothing yet.

Maybe tomorrow?

Will CGN FO be filled in the practice bids?

The company isn't sure which day they will put out the practice bid. This way they are correct either way.

To save time and money, they have decided to delay the first practice bid until after the world ends on Saturday.....

Oh, the Practice bids for F/O will fill. Then the night before the Final, the bottom 3rd will pull their bid for seniority reasons and all those that simply "wanted to see where their name would break out on the list" will bail. Then there will be a few at the bottom that forgot to pull THEIR bid out and have made absolutely no prep for a move to Europe because they were SO far from holding it on any Practice bid. They will have time to ponder it all on their Paris am hub turns. Careful with your bids on this one everybody.

Management that can't proof read an FCIF and put the right day/date combo together yet line pilots are unprofessional for parking in the OB lot, classic.

LOL, yeah funny, but man would it stop being funny right after the bid closes to remember "oh no, I didn't take CGN/HKG off of my practice bid!!!". Wise words, on being careful with this one.

It's happened before. My wife, who works at the company, called me at home one day. She told me she had been talking to one of our pilots, and "what advice do you have for someone who forgot to take Hong Kong off his standing bid prior to the close?" I told her his best course of action was to go to his ACP and plead stupidity.
