the arbiterbcan rule whenever he wants. last report the co. thinks a couple of weeks.

it seems to me that swa pilots will make less w/ the new flt/duty/rest rules.

and, after thinking about it, ive never had a 17 day trip at atlas.

Have you been there a year, yet?

No he has been here a couple of months, but he KNOWS everything.
Just ask him! He already has a great reputation at the company as a know-it all. Rumor has it he has a BB-Q every Friday at his home and Flynn, Dietrich and Carlson are allways there and give him the inside poop.

Keep up the good work Cliff, by the end of the year all 940 pilots will know your name.

There is ALWAYS the 10% in every company!!!!

So would anyone currently at Atlas care to put in a bit of educated speculation as to what the new contract may bring?

Until the Abitrator rules it's all up in the air. Before it went to arbitration most sections were TAed and if they remain unchanged the pay rates go up some. The big item is a trip rig, works out to 4.something hours pay for every 24. So if you do spend 17 days on the road (which is my JFK based norm) you'll blow past guarantee around day 13. The hope is if it costs the company significantly more to keep you sitting in a hotel, maybe they'll be more likely to cut pilots loose at the end of their pattern.

Would this be expected to be a significant pay bump or just a marginal few percent? I know there's no crystal ball, but just trying to get a feel for what might be in the future. Thanks.

I've heard 10% or better for Atlas and 20 some for Polar (their hourly is much less than Atlas's.)
