The TAs were sent by Fedex to your bidpack address. If your bidpack address is your locker, then that is where it will go. If it is your home, then it should arrive soon. Talked to a guy yesterday that had just received his. Funny that we both live in MEM.

I wouldn't wait on the hard copy before I started going over the TA. Much to my surprise, I found the online version much easier to review due to the color coding.

Ok, I attended my second road show and have read most of the contract.

I voted in favor of the TA today.

 

Got mine, used the phone, voted in the affirmative. No problems using Ma Bell.

Went to the road show yesterday and learned some things about the TA. I think it is a good TA, not perfect but pretty good. All the guys that retired since the ammendable date and also quit ALPA right before they got their last check have NO character. This TA really helps those guys with regard to retiree health care. Anybody want to start a list of the guys that were nonmembers and retired during the ammendable date?

BC kept refering to the company changing their tune around middle summer. Thanks MD11FOs and UPS. I think every capt retiring under this contract needs to buy their FOs beer. This is two TAs in row that fixed retiring problems: first one fixed OBRA problem on pension and now this TA addresses retiree health care. I hope the young FOs will worry about me as much when I am about to retire.

With the widebody intl. capts getting a big bump with rig and intl. override increase anybody think they will start buying beer(especially the purple ones).
