Default FDX - Carry-in adjustment question

Haven't run into this before. Line holder. If I have a large c/o trip (60 hours) and my single departure trip (72 hours) in the new month conflicts with it, if I don't want any CIA trips (just take the 60 c/o CHs and call it a month) what do I do?

Just don't submit anything during the conflict input window?

You aren't obligated to request CIA trips right?

They won't assign trips if you put nothing in, correct?

Thanks.

I'm thinking that if you do "nothing" you will end up with only the carry-in hours? That could be a good deal if you only want the 60 hours pay for the month. Some guy try to "game" the CIA to pick up trips that their seniority would never allow them to hold.

Just to be sure of exactly what happens, I would call my "Futures Scheduler."

You don't need to do anything. The single departure trip will drop and you will keep the carryover trip. No need to do anything else.
