The way it usually works on this forum, w the EA furloughs at least and given the buzz kill w the holidays and all, it could be several weeks or months before the next post.

Most likely won't hear anything until recalls go out............

At least we have that Water Park to cool off in. You don't need airplanes when you have a water slide.

sad sad.. I imagine there's a lot of good guys with a lot of experience there at the bottom of EZ... ex-ATA, Aloha, Astar and other failed airlines... hopefully someone else will pick them up.

Sortta' correct. The furlough @ the end of the year has become a 50/50 shot over the last decade.

The 2009 furlough - not everyone was called back by April:

This company will keep 1 guy on the street a couple extra months to save $, and has done it as recently as 2009. Many of the CA's here consider a furlough a 'right of passage'. They were furloughed, so you're not a real 'Zoner' till you've been furloughed too. The culture here is sortta' messed up at times.

disgraceful....contrast that to real airline unions that grind operations to a snails pace and fly 0 overtime when a single guy is on the street... I don't think this culture is going to help the Evergreen pilots get a good contract, much less an industry leading one.

There is a discussion over on FI that is saying that EHI is getting sold and might also include EIA.
