Timberland Chelsea Boot
$145 and free shipping with Zappos. Waterproof and tall enough that I won't get snow/slush/de-icing fluid in my shoes. No problems walking through the metal detectors, and they are expense report approved.

Plus, no fancy stitching and I'm from New Jersey so the cowboy thing didn't apply, either.

I have worn these same boots for 5 years. They are comfortable and long lasting, but by no means waterproof. The leather and stitching is waterproof, but the mesh, stretchy part on the upper is just that...mesh and stretchy and lets in water like a screen door. Just so you know.

Been wearing this shoe for years. So comfortable, I wear them all the time at home.

shoes.com rockports under dress shoes-very comfortable. If they don't fit, no hassle & free to send 'em back to get a pair that does.

try some on in bricks & mortar, compare the online price. I'm satifis fied & the receipts have always gone thru fdx exp reporting no problem
