Default Business cards for newhires at FDX & UPS?

Do FDX and UPS offer business cards for their newhire pilots? I've noticed no UPS pilots carry cards when on my j/s, but quite a few do from FDX. Thanks.

FedEx gave us each a box of cards shortly after the company purchased Kinko's. I will let a new-hire post a comment on what they are providing now. We are permitted to purchase addtional boxes. Once, the MEC printed business size cards to say "Thank You" and list the phone numbers for reserving a jumpseat. Thank you for providing your jumpseat to us.

I don't remember getting anything. Was it a free offer or do they actually give you cards with your info on them?

Ten years ago when I got hired on, we got a box of 200 free. They said we would get another box free when we made captain. Any others, we'd have to buy. So this was long before Kinko's was a player. I go to capt school in next year so I'll see if they keep their promise.

Just call your ACP and ask for them. Not sure how much it's advertised, but it's been always been something that was available.

Default cards

guys...

there are places where you can get these cards made...with nice color pics of the airplane you fly and everything else you want on them...they aren't really that expensive either....

It was a free offer as a new hire. Still have 193 of those cards.

This spring, we got a letter telling us how to log into the business card site and get another 200. I think it was a combination of having Kinko's to make the cards and recognizing that the company had changed it's name and address.

I'll see if I can find the info, or call your Flt Ops Admin.

P.S. free is free, clearly you are not yet a widebody Capt. in spite of what your profile says.
