I'm a retired ABX guy and a few years ago we had a news crew catch a couple of our contractors playing football with a customers package. They had on Airborne uniforms so as far as the public is concerned it was Airborne. Not good for the image of the company and hurts those that really work hard to make their company the best. No way to justify his actions. Fire him.

The story and picture came from the Daily Mail, a British paper so the guy was probably British. I don't know if he was a contractor or not, but as long as he has the FedEx shirt on, as far as I am concerned he is a FedEx employee and should be fired. Working for purple I think I can guarantee he is no longer with FedEx and Mr. Smith probably took this very personally.
FYI, there is another video of UPS doing the same thing.

According to other news sources he was fired. He was a local(USA) Fed employee. They interviewed the customer who said he was home and expecting the delivery. Had his door wide open and was actually inside the house. He also mentions there is a chime button on the gate which the employee obviously did not use. And yes the TV was damaged and had to be returned.
Sucks one employees actions gives a black eye to everyone else. Kind of like how one bad cop can make a whole police department look bad...
