And would any sane pilot allow their daughter to go out with a pilot, let alone (a non worthy) cargo pilot???

The pizza is for the lunch crowd, the real customers. The dried out remains are for the night crews. They won't make fresh even if they run out.
They point to the buffeteria if you complain. So it's rest or eat during the turn, not both. That's ok because we're cargo.
