This could be a first for me, but I tend to agree with Mayday on this one. However, that said, it should be understood that there are very few things that have to be done successfully, in order for us to continue in the employ of FedEx Express. The list is short: 1) pass our physicals; 2) show up on time for our trips; 3) fly the aircraft according to the AOM; 4) conduct ourselves according to the FOM and the ALPA contract. I'm sure that there are a few other hoops, but those are the major ones. With the above in mind, I'd suggest that fewer than 1% of the crew force are not doing their jobs correctly and are the cause of this issue. I'd further suggest that the other 99% of guys should pay no attention to any ramblings about dress code, etc, because it is not addressed to them. As is most always the case on these "hot topics", the presenter is usually preaching to the choir.

Well, at least no one will have an excuse for not buying one to picket in.

Sorry for the Fed guys, but this is just the start. Wait until Fred retires and some P.O.S. bean counter takes over. They will not stop with the B.S. until you retire. I am sorry to say, but it is coming. Get your local council strong with lots of support and you MIGHT be able to limit the damage.
