My uniform purchase this year with be to have Winston & Company in HKG tailor me a long wool coat similar to the one we used to be able to buy from the MEM uniform people. I don't know where else to get a good long wool coat so my plan is to have him make me one and pay for it over 2 yrs.

I just ordered from Winston Taylor in HGK and he had my old measurements from a couple years ago and made me my long wool coat. Awesome coat, they put your name and employee number on the inside label and fedex'd it to me using my account. Here's the link. I would think you could email him your info and measurements. I did the transaction through email to raymond and he took care of everything and I had the jacket within a week plus or minus a few days.

With all the uniform rumors flying about hats, too many uniform combos and BM continuing on the "O" uniform warpath, you may want to consider holding off until we know what's coming. You don't want to get something you won't be able to wear. Unless you just want the overcoat.
why wait? blow your uniform allowance now and when it all changes ask for more to buy the new stuff

That wool overcoat is darn nice and can be worn with many things other than a pilot's uniform. I would make sure to get it before they make it a non-uniform item which could possibly not qualify for the uniform reimbursement over two years ($300) the jacket through Winston's was about $335.
Very nice jacket especially while Fred is buying. IMO.
