You do know that "one of our own" ratted out two line guys for reading in the cockpit, right? At least it was only to the company, but still...
At least for the time being, he has reaped some of his own karma, but he suffered no other justice as far as I can see.

Dirtbag or not:
1. Talk to the offending party. Try and get resolution. It's the adult thing to do.
2. Go to Pro Stands if you can't get satisfaction.
3. Going to the FAA / going to management - only as a last resort, and I would do it with the union by my side. I probably wouldn't do it at all unless the guy was about to kill somebody and Pro Stands can't stop him.

Wow, very hard to believe.
At a previous airline I flew for, there was a flight attendant doing that to pilots she didn't like. She would come up to the cockpit while one of the pilots went back to the head, and would get involved in conversation. Then, if she didn't like said pilot, she would contact the FAA safety hotline and tell them that the pilot did not have their O2 mask on in cruise flight. Eventually, we were able to figure out who she was. Unfortunately, not before one of our captains had his certificate suspended for 60 days without pay with a violation on his record.
In regards to the ANC captain in question, hopefully nothing comes of this. But if it does, the FAA will have to state the date and flight number of occurrence, in which case the captain will know exactly who the FO was.
